If
you would like to do some training talk to:
-
your manager if you are an employee
- an EXITO staff member if you are self employed or doing training without
the support of your company
These
are the steps that you/your manager will go through:
1. Enter into a Service Level Agreement with EXITO.
Before you sign on as a EXITO trainee your company must have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) in place with EXITO. The SLA formalises the level of service provided by EXITO to the company. If you don't have a SLA in place, contact EXITO and a Training Advisor will arrange a time to discuss your options.
2.
Are you signed up as an "EXITO Trainee"?
Any
person(s) who would like to do training must be signed on as an EXITO Trainee.
If
you/your employees are not signed on please complete the Training Agreement
form. It costs $200 (incl gst) per employee, per year. In most cases the company/ employer pays for this. Terms of the Agreement are included in the
form.
When
you have completed the form please post/fax/email it to EXITO with the sign up fee
of $200 (per person). If you prefer, EXITO can send an invoice to you. $200 per trainee will be invoiced to the company on the anniversary of sign up, for the entire duration that it takes the trainee to complete the qualification.
3.
Organising the Training
The process for organising training depends on what SLA your employer has signed into. If they are on Full service, EXITO will organise the training with a provider for you. If they are on Shared service, EXITO will provide you with possible training options and your company will organise the details. If they are on Self service then your employer will organise for training on their own.
4. Cost of Training
The cost of training depends on a number of variables; time involved, skill and experience levels, number of people doing the training etc. For companies on Full service, EXITO will negotiate directly with the training provider and use its position to get you the best price possible. For companies on Shared and Self service they will negotiate directly with the provider.
5. Payment for Training
For all service levels, contracts and payments for provision are the company's care.
6. Training Results
EXITO
receives the training results from the Registered Assessor/Training Provider.
The results are inputted into our trainee management system and you are provided with a
printout of your Record of Learning (a list of the units you have achieved
to date).
7. Certificate Presentation
When
you have completed the requirements of the EXITO National Qualification
and EXITO has received the approval of NZQA, EXITO will issue you with
the National Certificate. (If the training is for an Certificate of Competence
you must complete the CoC application form & send it to EXITO before
the CoC can be issued). Companies on Full service will have the certificates presented by EXITO in a presentation ceremony funded by EXITO. Companies on Shared service may have the certificates presented in a ceremony by EXITO, but will share the costs of the ceremony with EXITO. Companies on Self service will be posted their certificates. Companies on Shared and Self service will receive their rebates on completion of the qualification.
