Extractive Unit Standards

National Qualifications and Certificate of Competence (CoC's) are made up of Unit Standards. Unit standards are the building blocks of any qualification registered on the NZQA Framework.

Unit Standards are statements of what you are to learn. Each Unit Standard equals a number of 'Credits'. When you are successful at achieving a Unit Standard you are awarded the credits for that unit standard.
